Hi. I’m Jill.

As a teacher married to a golf pro, my summer holidays always took me to the links. With plenty of down time, I would sit on the patio of the clubhouse making earrings and necklaces while hubby practiced. So, in between “loopin’ it”, which refers to caddying on the golf course, I returned to my love of creating and a hobby that started when I was young – jewelry making. That’s how Loops came to be.

Now I’m able to put into action what others told me for a long time: “you should really sell your jewellery.” I used to teach in a middle school, but I left that career for the time being. I have two children, so I decided to stay at home and be Mom for now and fit in jewellery making while they’re at school or after they’ve gone to sleep!

Loops was founded on the belief that making jewellery can be aligned with our collective values, communities, and environment. Sustainability and transparency help all of us make better choices and take better care of the environment and ourselves.

Loops is intentional about opting for recycled and ethically sourced materials as much as possible. During production and packaging, Jill uses environmentally friendly and reusable materials, packaging, and practices and chooses reusable and recyclable supplies, boxes, etc.
