There’s inspiration all around us. I spent a lot of time outside this weekend and it refreshed my soul.

Spring is here this week and boy does that warmth

Spring is here this week and boy does that warmth and sunshine ever feel good. The saying “it’s like a breath of fresh air” resonates all the more in the midst of the monotony of the days lately and the thought of planting seeds and watching new life emerge is definitely bringing hope and refreshment to a weary mind.

Today’s #marchmeetthemaker prompt is “in use” so here is a shot of my jewelry being worn! These little cuff bracelets are my favourite. I wear a stack of them any time I go out...which lately hasn’t been often but still...my favourites.

I don’t really have a recent portrait of myself so sharing this picture of my husband (my biggest supporter) and me. I am so thankful to do life with him and he is always there helping whenever and however he can and being my biggest cheerleader. It takes a team to run a small business and he is a big part of my team.

Every little detail in my jewelry is made by hand. Each little leaf or tree that is cut or every hammer stroke used, these tiny details are intentionally made. I hope you cherish them. They were made with love.

Beliefs and Values
When it comes to my business, I feel strongly about a few things. The quality of my work and materials, responsibility to be a steward of what I’ve been given, and you, my customers. So let me break those three down.
I pride myself on making high quality, affordable jewelry. I try to be meticulous in every step of making it to provide you with something wonderful.
When so much of the inspiration for what I make comes from the nature around us, it is also my responsibility to be a good steward of that. I use recycled metals in my work, seek to use ethically sourced gemstones, practice environmentally conscious methods in my silversmithing and use reusable, recyclable and sometimes comparable materials for my packaging.
All of this is for my customers. I value each of you and believe it is my job to connect well with you and to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. I’m always happy to customize pieces with the right size ring, length of chain, stone choice, etc. If your jewelry accidentally gets caught on something and breaks, I’m here to fix it. If you give someone a gift and it isn’t quite right and you need to exchange, I’m here for that too! I couldn’t do this whole gig without my customers. I value you.

I’m a busy mom and business owner who loves to adventure outside as often as my schedule allows. My style in my daily life connects with my style of jewelry. Minimal, easy to wear and meaningful. We all have our favourite pair of pants or our favourite sweater. We have our default hair style and favourite pair of shoes. I aim to have my jewelry be your default every day piece because it is comfortable to wear, matches every outfit, suits whatever is in your schedule for the day and holds meaning for you. I often describe my style as west coast inspired, wearable jewelry. Really, my jewelry style is similar to my personal style - down to earth, personable and up for adventure.
